I recently started a job at an insurance agency as a csr and personal asst. I've been wearing heels, but I'm always on my feet and am looking for a comfortable, but still appropriate alternative. I am looking at a pair of black dansko pros for 110.00. I'm not used to spending that much on shoes. Are they worth it? I don't wanna spend that much if I could find an equally as good alternative for less. Personal experience greatly appreciated. [no need to recommend naturalizer or aerosoles].

I sell danskos, half of my team wears them to work, running up and down stairs all day long and i can tell you from customer feed back they are definatly worth it. while they arn't the worlds cutest shoes, i have yet to find anyone who hasn't liked them. they are amazing shoes that get better the more you wear them and will last you for years. yes i said it years. if you think about it 110 is not bad. if you own these shoes for only 2 years thats 55 a year. do not get anything else they are totally worth it!

I'm going to be going on a 2 week trip to Europe filled with lots of walking this summer…so I'm looking for style as well as comfort. I usually just shop for style, so even reasonable comfort would be good. I was thinking of getting Birkenstock's (I think most are ugly but they're sooo comfy and there's a few pairs I like)…but they're kinda clunky and eh.

These are the best ones that I have found so far that are supposed to be comfortable as well:

I plan to get them in white. Maybe gold. What do you think?

Anyway I anticipate on spending about $60, but maybe a little more if they're really amazing. So if anyone has found any cuter but still comfortable, let me know!

Please don't just send me a link to zappo's though…because that's where I discovered those sandals in the first place!

Thanks :)
Woops I guess that link didn't work.

But if that doesn't work, go to aerosoles.com then type in "rediscover" in the search box. They are the sandals obviously.

I was thinking about the silver but I can't see them going with a lot of the things I wear. But it's a possibility.
I own a pair of brown rainbows…but I'm not really big into the typical flip-flop that I used to wear all through middle school. I like strappy and unique. Thank you lots though guys! (I'm not thrilled about the ones I found either, that's why I'm asking) :)

I would say Rainbows. They are cute and comfortable, and they are extremely durable.

They sell them at most surf shops and if you have a Journey's in your mall they have them there! Have fun on your trip!
